Nicole Ari Parker AND Nazneen Contractor Feet And Legs

Nicole Ari Parker is an American stage and film actress who is known for her role as the fierce lawyer Teri Joseph on the Showtime show Soul Food. She is now known by her married name, Nikki Kodjoe. She was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. When she was an infant, she showed an aptitude for acting and received the Top Actress Award at a Maryland High School Competition. After working in theater and 'The Washington Ballet Company she graduated with a degree in acting from 'New York University. The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love, her first role in a major film, won her great admiration. Films like Blue Streak and Boogie Nights Spark followed. Her praise was for her role as a character in Soul Food. She also appeared in TV programs like Second Time Around' and Empire. Prior to that she was a part of numerous stage productions. Parker, who is engaged in politics and is married model-actor Boris Kodjoe. They have two daughters.

The family was born to Mumbai, India and raised in Nigeria from the age of seven. Contractor was well-informed about the world and an array of cultures at a very young age. She attended boarding school from the age between 7 and 9 years old in London. Then, she and her family relocated in Toronto (Canada) where they spent her entire childhood. In Toronto, Contractor excelled in academics and became an classical ballerina. She was a student at the Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto, a school of the arts which focuses on theatre and dance. Contractor was dancing for over 10 years when she started when she decided to focus on acting. When she completed high school, she received an entire scholarship to University of Toronto. At the University of Toronto she completed a Masters in Theatre and also double majored with Psychology and Sociology. Contractor attended the highly-regarded Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Canada, for Pericles. After one full year, she was awarded the leading role. The year 2002 was a great one for her. Canadian reviewers praised her performance in 92 performances of the play. Contractor accepted an invitation to join Stratford's Conservatory. Only eight men selected as well as four females get accepted for a 20-week intensive course in classical theater. Contractor was guaranteed a spot for the upcoming season of productions and was offered the part as Hermia as Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
