Born on the 2nd of December, 1982 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model best known for her appearances in both TV shows and films. Brandt made her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a historical drama. She began her acting career as a New Zealander on Diplomatic Immunity. The actress has been featured on a variety of TV series in the past decade. They include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt was first introduced to the role of Mazikeen (the character played by Tom Ellis Lauren German, as well as Kevin Alejandro) in the urban-fantasy series Lucifer at the beginning of 2016. Brandt was born in Cape Town in South Africa. She moved to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she was in her twenties. The path she took to her career started as a model in print and commercial ads. Her rise to stardom as a supermodel started when she was working in retail and IT recruitment. On the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity, where she played Leilani F'auigaese, in 2009 her debut role secured. Craig Parker starred alongside her on three shows that aired on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, Mazikeen started her new role as a bounty hunting demon in Netflix's smash hit Lucifer. This is her biggest role to date. The series stars Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside and D. B. Woodside.
